Victorian Cornice Mouldings and Covings
Grants Plastering Ltd made and installed this lovely Victorian style fibrous cornice moulding.
We fixed new cornice to three rooms and we also fixed new ceiling roses.
The client was very happy with the craftsmanship, we also did the plastering to the walls and ceiling upholding skill and integrity through the project.
Traditional Solid Lime Cornice Mouldings.
The entrance to this Victorian property was in need of lime restoration works to the rendering with ashlar panels and then new panel moulds run in situ to the top of the spires and the final stages of the works was to run the detailed plinths using profiles made by Grants Plastering Ltd.
Once the the restoration works had dried out and cured the detailed rendering and moulds were painted with a permeable paint.
Matching a Traditional Lime Cornice Moulding
Grants Plastering Ltd had to do a repair to a large cornice due to the builder damaging the mould during renovation works.
We made panel moulds to match the existing lower members of the cornice and then made good the central cove section to the cornice by free hand.
The result was excellent and another happy customer.
